Hi David and Lisa,

Good to read that you are back in Ghana. I tried to get a book on water pumps but it never arrived. I have found a website that sells water pumps specifically for African water projects. It is SK Industries from India. They are http://skipumps.com. I can't remember if you have to throw in www in between. The category is afridev hand pumps. Some are worked by hand and some by treadle. Has anyone there used anything like that?

On the baskets, how do we get the money to you? We would like 10 of them. I will specify when I can get Pat to sit down and tell me what I want.

We went to Maui earlier this month to get Amy married. She married Gabriele Babini, so she is now Amy Babini. They are in the Phillipines for a couple years as he is managing a resort there. For the moment they are in the mountains near the big lake. She says it is 50-60 all the time. Soon they go to the new resort at te coast whre it will be hot and muggy, exactly what they like. If we visit Pat and I might have to stay in the mountains.

Bon aventure,
John

All well here, just waiting for summer to arrive. These antarctic Blasts are not pleasant.

Hi David and Lisa
I just had an opportunity to read your website, what an amazing program - we look forward to following your stories and progress and wish you the best. I read above about your niece's efforts in providing shoes - would gently used infant and children's clothes be of help? I attend a mother's group and I would suspect there would a lot of donations that I could mail to you. Not sure about the logistics but let me know if this is something that would help.
Be well
